Summary:
Lead the talent acquisition process across Ducommun working closely with the leadership and each product center to ensure sourcing of key talent and general recruiting is followed using both local and national best practices. The Director of Recruiting works with the leadership and all site personnel to determine the strategic direction and hiring objectives. This is especially critical now as the company will start a material growth phase again starting in 2022 and this leader needs to deliver on hiring goals of each team, the a majority focus on direct labor. Leader needs to be on the ground and will have significant travel, especially in 2022.Position will also network and recommend search partners and temporary agencies on a local and national basis. Full responsibility for managing the preferred ATS system, which is a part of the human capital management system supporting the company.
Essential Functions:
Drives a culture of continuous improvement while identifying and implementing projects and initiatives to increase business-wide recruiting effectiveness and efficiency. Develop strategies and processes that use both traditional and innovative sources to cover all possible talent pools available. Source qualified and diverse candidates through various methods, including advertisements, professional organizations, internet sources, technical schools, colleges, competitors, industry events, career fairs and networking. Create standardized reporting systems that will regularly lead to identifying solutions and improvement areas for recruiting programs. Partner with Human Resources representatives, facility hiring managers and functional leaders to understand operational and support functions, recruiting needs and position requirements. Manage and engage outside recruiters, temporary agencies and consultants to ensure efficient use of budgetary resources and timely completion of assigned positions to be filled. Manage college and university relationships to include campus recruiting, coordinating Company ambassador programs and internship recruiting processes. Coordinate all external recruiting events with the Company's HR professionals on an as-needed basis. Develop and maintain measurement statistics related to recruiting costs and effectiveness such as cost containment and retention, the effectiveness of sourcing methods, cost-per-hire, budgets, etc., to include open requisition reports and other reports as required. Provide training to all human capital management system users to improve talent acquisition, speed of hire, interviewing proficiencies and knowledge of the legal aspects of employment. Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers and HR professionals with hiring and employment data. May develop specialized or competitive intelligence and research in regards to talent development or retention. Ensures compliance with State, Federal and AAP job posting and reporting requirements. Qualifications:

Knowledge of legal aspects and personnel practices and theories related to Human Resources and the employment selection processes. Excellent computer skills and proficiency in creating presentations, managing data and project managing special assignments. Goal and metrics-driven mindset with accountability for results and a strong customer service orientation. Proven ability to manage and use internet tools, social media and cutting-edge techniques for identifying and sourcing qualified candidates. Proven project management skills and the ability to multi-task in a matrix environment. Experience/Training/Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources or related area preferred. Minimum five years experience in managing a recruiting process across multi-site and multi-discipline functions in all areas of operations and functional support staff in an aerospace or industrial manufacturing environment. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
