This role will join Business Technology Solutions (corporate IT's) leadership team to shape and drive the development and execution of our enterprise DevOps strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to join and lead a team responsible for codifying the DevOps framework for the company and reports to the VP of Strategy and Innovation. In this highly visible leadership role, you will be responsible for developing solutions, tools, and processes to enable a highly available, reliable, and scalable global multi-cloud platform. You will drive the strategy for this organization and your strong execution across cloud vendors will drive high-performing teams to deliver high-quality cloud operations and ongoing support ensuring critical service level objectives, customer requirements, and financial objectives are met. This role will influence the strategic drivers, lead the execution of priority initiatives, facilitate and partner cross-functionally within the company to ensure business critical outcomes are achieved and measured. As the Director of DevOps Strategy, you will lead a small team of senior devops leads to focus on enabling speed and quality with a security first mindset for our product teams. You will play an integral role in establishing our build & release automation strategies. You will be responsible for interfacing with the application development, cloud and ci/cd operations teams to ensure the build and release requirements are addressed throughout the development lifecycle. You will lead and establish a DevOps practice and create a community where thought leaders across the company can push forward best practices, share ideas, and support each other. Success in this role means:
You have experience in agile tooling (Jira, ADO etc.), distributed code management (Git, etc.), and deployment strategies that support both iterative & continuous development You have demonstrated experience in the application of agile engineering practices such as clean code, secure code, structured refactoring, test driven development, domain driven design, continuous integration and delivery You have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and operations to ensure the scalability and maintainability of cloud native applications in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) You will build strong partnerships with QA, Product, AppDev, and other tech teams to reduce support, find efficiencies, increase performance, and educate on best practices. Help implement automated tests, automated deployments, monitoring, and operational tools along with true observability Form cross-functional partnerships and work closely with developers and product managers to identify productivity, production quality and coverage issues, and provide insight on improving both through scale and tooling. You will apply engineering leadership and deep knowledge of infrastructure and software development at scale to lead the operation, adoption, and evolution of these services Strong understanding of software development, debugging, optimization, and/or troubleshooting - hands-on experience with common programming languages preferred You enjoy troubleshooting problems, involving the appropriate resources and driving resolution of issues with a focus on minimizing impact to our customers. You have strong problem-solving skills - ability to take a process perspective in solving problems. You have a solid understanding of IT organizations and specific challenges and issues. Responsibilities:
Lead the First American DevOps strategy development and implementation Establish and operationalize the DevOps framework Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Information Security, application products teams, business stakeholders, IT-leadership) to create the backlog for the organization and individual application products teams to mature in their DevOps practices Establish a DevOps practice and center for enablement to provide knowledge sharing, development of best-practices and to support the overall scale of users Establish a plan to coach, train and 'boot-up' product teams on standardized approaches Develop performance monitoring approaches to enable product teams to be self-empowered while ensuring speed and quality are achieved Create and execute strategies for cloud operations tooling and automation needed to underpin daily cloud operations tasks and run-books effectively providing a framework that allows us to meet our SLAs Define the lifecycle automation and tooling needs for the cloud operations team and help determine how these tools & solutions can help drive consistency and efficiency Provide escalation support for advanced troubleshooting Design tools and automation to prevent problem recurrence Build strong cross-functional relationships with Product Engineering to ensure that the hand-off to cloud operations is achieved in a controlled manner, the products and solutions are fully tested and ready for production use, and that any bugs or issues are raised and regularly reviewed Collaborate with Product Management on product roadmaps ensuring incorporation of feedback on operational priorities, specifically around non-functional requirements. Support and drive the use of leading practices to execute complex initiatives spanning different large teams/ stakeholders and geographies (Agile, Product Mgmt, Design Thinking etc) Observe market trends and evolutions, monitors the organization's needs and performances against targets and evaluates potential issues in order to implement action plans Coordinate and partner with cross-functional leadership teams to drive alignment and dependencies between different priorities Participates in leading overall information technology strategic planning to achieve business goals by prioritizing information technology initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technology projects. Provides leadership for planning, developing, and implementing information technology initiatives. Provides operational and project direction to department managers and monitors performance against agreed upon objectives Reviews and approves statement of work (SOWs), request for proposals (RFPs), licensing agreements and software renewals and has significant responsibility managing key vendors and working with procurement to support negotiations Makes hiring and other employment decisions for senior level staff and managers; provides on-going performance feedback to team and input to hiring decisions in other departments Management and Leadership Qualifications Innovative thinker who remains flexible and maintains the ability to manage change among varied resources. $250K -- $500K+

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
