Quick Apply Contract 1 hour ago Full Job Description This position requires a strong analytical background with the ability to analyze and consolidate data driven results for reporting to high-level management.
The Transportation Analyst will collect, interpret, and analyze various types of logistics data including the movement of products, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain Duties & Responsibilities Manage KPI and improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends.
Should be a self-starter, able to demonstrate sound judgment and versatility in problem solving.
Contributes to the team by accomplishing related results as needed to expand business operation directed by Management by determining service performance and costs by establishing standard metrics.
Issue Risk Management and support ad-hoc reports as directed by management.
Guides cost and operation process through analysis by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts, explaining processes and techniques.
Support creation of materials for various management reviews and meetings.
Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures for documenting department activities Analyze large datasets and organize historical data to communicate trends and focus for improvement All other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar Expertise with SAP and advanced Excel and Power Point skills Strong analytical skills for planning costs per unit, travel costs, etc.
Ability to manage and work effectively within cross-functional groups Experience using advanced supply chain management, enterprise planning or financial planning systems is highly desired.
(SAP, etc.
) Proven success in a highly dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Should have advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge and skills.
Strong communication, both written (PPT presentations) and oral skills.
The ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within and exceeding established time frames.
The ability to read, prepares, interpret, and understand product shipment information from various order and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and thorough preparation of transportation documents.
Works on problems of limited and routine scope where limited analysis of data requires identification of predetermined solutions.
