Job Description:
IT Help Desk Specialist As an IT Help Desk Specialist you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software by answering users' questions, training users on basic system and computer functions, addressing system and user issues, and resolving tickets in a timely and professional manner.
You will assist the IT Manager in various assignments and projects.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for office and field staff seeking technical assistance via Jira ticketing system or over the phone.
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions Follow-up and update office and field staff regarding their ticket status and information Resolve both Tier 1 and 2 tickets in a timely manner.
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support (Tier 3) Record events, problems and their resolution in Jira Ticket log.
Tracking time estimated and spent on each ticket.
Handle Office and Field staff IT Onboarding and Offboarding Ensuring all Electronic Equipment is up to date and monitored Ensure that internal software data is clean and up to date.
Pass on any feedback or suggestions by staff to the appropriate internal team Work closely with the IT Manager as well as working on any side projects assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to travel to Southern California (Santa Ana) Office M-F 8-4pm Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products Strong attention to detail Strong data management abilities Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control Strong client-facing and communication skills Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills High school diploma at minimum Proficiency in English Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues Compensation:
This is a full time position starting at $22
