Compensation PULSCO, INC is looking for a Logistics and Inventory Coordinator to join our team in Santa Ana, CA.
The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics coordination, shipping and receiving and inventory control.
The Logistics and Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
This includes ensuring that orders are fulfilled on time, coordinating with carriers, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that arise.
Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and managing stock levels.
Essential Functions Arrange and manage freight carriers for inbound and outbound product shipments from various locations in a cost-effective manner Respond and follow up on inquiries verbal/written with vendors Inspect parts in receiving Pack and ship parts via UPS, FEDEX, Freight services Negotiate carrier rates Responsible for accurate processing of all orders and confirming customer purchase orders, pricing, track shipments and communicating any issues in fulfillment Manage purchase orders and arrange logistics Work closely with operations to manage inventory levels Works closely with management on forecasts and new distribution needs Qualifications Education and Experience High School degree/GED 2 to 3 year's inventory management experience 3-5 years of Logistics and freight schedule experience Knowledge and Skills Exceptional interpersonal skills:
positive, respectful and customer focused Excellent verbal and written communication skills Results/deadline oriented with effective follow through Solid Microsoft Office skills (ACCESS, EXCEL and WORD) We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills who is able to work independently as well as part of a team.
The successful candidate should have strong communication skills (Written and Verbal) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
