The In Home Caregivers will also conduct a variety of health screenings, administer medications and provide emotional support services to patients and families.
Responsibilities:
Meet the needs of patients with respect and dignity.
Provide assistance to patients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
Check medications to ensure that doses are correct and that drug side effects are well known by patient.
Help patients with symptom management; including pain management and symptom awareness.
Provide emotional support for patients and their families during a very difficult time.
Maintain accurate records of caregiving duties.
Visit patients in their home regularly.
