What We Do Essential Functions Provides a wide range of support to the investment management group in the area of investment research, trading, operations, accounting and analysis.
Collects data, prepares reports and performs analysis regarding the FAT investment portfolio.
Works independently developing expertise in asset classes, industry sector coverage, or mutual fund coverage.
Works under general supervision of the FAT Investment group manager and more experienced Investment Analysts Model client investment accounts to generate proposed trades and may route for execution Create or edit client or prospect meeting materials Collect client or prospect information to generate financial plans Participate in weekly analyst calls Job Complexities Works on a wide range of problems where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Acts in an advisory capacity, influencing and making recommendations which may have an important bearing on the conduct of the business segment.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Has the creative latitude to work outside policy and develop new solutions.
Supervision Received or Extended No responsibility for the supervision of others Impact Works independently setting own priorities and objectives with supervisory consultation.
Actively contributes to the results of a team and works towards achieving team goals and objectives.
Uses expertise of more senior level team members and leverages additional resources to confirm solution Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used Moderate specialized knowledge of financial markets.
Ability to assist in business development and making presentations.
Specific knowledge of technology including Investor's View, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce is generally required.
Typical Education Bachelor's Degree required, Post Graduate degree preferred (MBA), CFA or CFP certification preferred Typical Range of Experience Typically have 1-3 years of directly related experience.
Pay Range:
$67,600- $87,000 This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
