Summary This position is responsible for managing the OC SPC Survivor Support Services program training related activities and providing guidance to the participants and the program.
The position is also responsible for community outreach activities and events.
Spanish Bilingual preferred to assist with the program's Spanish language community training activities.
Primary Duties Serve as the point of contact for trainings and outreach activities including scheduling events.
Serve as the primary presenter and program representative at Spanish bilingual/monolingual trainings and outreach events as well as English suicide prevention trainings.
Participate in all suicide prevention trainings and assigned outreach events including staffing resource tables and attending community networking events.
Under the guidance of the program's managers, regularly update and maintain existing curriculum and may create new training presentations.
Support the training and outreach program's database maintenance and reporting requirements including monthly reports.
Coordinate volunteers for speaking engagements or health/resource tables.
Support the training and outreach team in creating, updating and maintaining the Speakers' Bureau for suicide prevention requests.
May conduct ASIST and/or safeTALK workshops.
Promote awareness of trainings and services throughout designated counties including the program's menu of suicide prevention trainings.
Track dissemination and initiated outreach promoting trainings - including discussions resulting from related outreach.
Build relationships and provide trainings with higher level of care agencies/ programs within Orange County.
May provide coverage for other SSS related services.
Performs other duties as requested.
Position Requirements Bilingual Spanish preferred Working knowledge of mental health services and suicide prevention.
Working knowledge of Agency policies and procedures, HIPAA, and OCHCA.
Advanced skills to present ideas, information, and viewpoints clearly.
Superior organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
Effectively collaboration and relationship building.
Telephone and personal computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, zoom, and other related platforms.
Ability to use analysis, experience, and judgment to make effective.
Effectively collaboration and relationship.
High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor degree preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
