What We DoThe Director of Community and Government Affairs will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive community engagement strategy, work plan, and all key outreach and engagement initiatives/activities, developing critical relationships with community leaders and creating a strong company presence within the communities we serve.
This role will also be responsible for developing and executing government affairs strategies in support of the business and advocating for policies that help advance the company's core causes.
Essential Functions Serve as an ambassador for the company to key external partners and stakeholders Develop and expand relevant outreach opportunities with multicultural communities Grow the community impact and reach through engagements, analyzing data and metrics to evaluate, measure and make recommendations for improvement and continued impact.
Drive vision through all areas of philanthropy to create a culture of giving with employees, working in-sync with our HR department to create volunteer and giving opportunities for staff.
Audit current processes of community engagement Map out the current portfolio, review currently supported programs, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) Create a strategic vision for engagement over the next 5 years, building on a consistent theme for areas of the business that can be most impactful.
Use data to inform strategic organization community outreach and engagement decisions Help support recruiting (new staff and new customers) within diverse communities Develop and implement sophisticated advocacy strategies on a broad range of policy issues affecting the title, mortgage, and real estate industry.
Represent the organization and share its mission to potential clients and external partners.
Oversee financial investments, track budgets, update executive leadership on the progress and effectiveness of community initiatives.
Monitor public policy and legislative developments that may affect business development, corporate positions, and business objectives.
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used Excellent planning and organizational skills An ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with community leaders, public officials, policy makers, and community-based organizations Demonstrated success building strong relationships within diverse communities across the country Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills Demonstrated competency in creating and executing on strategic plans Proven record of leading large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and driving organizational change Works independently setting own priorities and objectives Critical thinker with the proven ability to solve problems and deal with ambiguity in a high- visibility in a fast-paced environment Fluent in Spanish, (reading, writing and speaking) is a plus Typical Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Advanced degree preferred Typical Range of Experience 10
years demonstrated experience managing multiple functions Pay Range:
$103,620 - $172,700 annuallyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
