Contracts Manager

Responsibilities Review, identify, assess (legal and business liabilities/risks) and explain government and non-government business legal documentation, including without limitation, NDAs, professional services, consulting, hardware procurement, SaaS agreements, and software licensing.
Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts, such as procurement, sales, and licensing contracts and sub-contracts.
Draft, manage and train on company policies related to contract processes and procedures.
Manage contract status reporting and attend business meetings as needed for projects (e.
g.
, provide contract interpretation support).
Under supervision of the VP of Legal:
Provide administrative support to VP of Legal Assist with review of government business registrations, requirements, solicitations (e.
g.
, RFPs, RFQs, RFBs, etc.
) and be able to identify, summarize and document the scope, requirements, service requirements, finance, legal, and price structure.

Create and manage reports of various legal matters, status of contracts and intellectual property portfolio.
Requirements Minimum five (5) years of experience in government contract business, risk management and/or compliance.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in drafting/negotiating/strategizing a variety of agreements.
Proficient in MS Office, Adobe, Conga CMS, Oracle, and legal research.
Must have proven familiarity with drafting/reviewing/negotiating/management of a variety of contracts and agreements used by a technology company, including but not limited to public agency agreements, contracts and subcontracts for the supply of products and services, distributor agreements, SaaS and software licensing, hardware and other intellectual property, teaming arrangements, letters of intent, proposals, confidentiality agreements, etc.
Must also have proven familiarity with the development and enforcement of contracting processes, policies, procedures, templates and other methodologies to develop and maintain best industry practices for contracts administration, management, and related business activities.
Must possess strong ability to review, analyze and summarize existing & potential contract terms and provide succinct meaningful feedback, questions and recommendations to teams and management.
Assist employees with various contract questions and issues (e.
g.
, ability to take partial payment of a debt from a supplier).
Manage and support special projects as assigned by VP of Legal, such as M&A contract assignment transition support.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
