Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases - Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence - Maintain and organize legal files and documents - Manage document management systems and databases - Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness - Assist with document review and discovery processes - Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances - Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role preferred - Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry - Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Familiarity with document management systems and legal research tools (e.
