Ideal Candidate Profile:
We seek individuals who are eager to learn, motivated to excel, and capable of working independently and collaboratively. Our employees are recognized for their strong technical design skills and comprehensive expertise across all phases of land development.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the central design figure on a team, designing layouts for rough and precise grading, erosion control plans, public, offsite, and street improvements, as well as underground utilities including water and sewer.
- Prepare technical reports covering hydrology, hydraulics, earthworks, sewer capacity, water demand, etc.
- Engage in preliminary, DD, and CD phases, completing due diligence, feasibility studies, and entitlements; provide construction support through site visits, project coordination, and responding to RFIs.
- Independently perform complex design tasks and solve major design issues with minimal supervisory input.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in land development design, depending on previous experience.
- At least two years of experience in independently solving complex engineering problems within land development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, LDD, and/or Civil 3D software.
