Our busy real estate, eviction, foreclosure and bankruptcy law firm seeks to hire a 3-7 year bankruptcy attorney.
We represent secured creditors, banks, lenders, investors and foreclosure trustees, in both transactional, litigation and bankruptcy matters in California.
We are a growing firm and are looking for someone who is career oriented and ready to grow with our firm.
KEY JOB DUTIES:
Prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, objections to Chapter 13 plans Chapter 11 experience and Adversary matters experience required Responses to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal & otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings, etc.
Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors and debtors' attorneys MINIMUM
Qualifications:
3-7 years bankruptcy experience Admitted to Practice in California.
Experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research Must be able to proficiently handle appearances, all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision Excellent leadership skills Excellent communication and organization abilities Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload A portable book of business is a plus Job Type:
