Clerk will need to communicate with the customer as required and in conjunction with inbound and outbound schedules.
Provides scheduling of all inbound and outbound freight in compliance with warehouse operations.
Coordinates receiving and shipping documents, verifying accuracy.
Gathers and maintains all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities.
Verifies accuracy on shipping orders and shipping quantities matching picking documents.
Assisting with discrepancies and assists in resolving.
Collects all documentation for inbound freight and route to the proper recording keeping unit.
Directs and oversees the pallet control and exchange program.
Aids on special projects at the discretion of the Lead CSR or CSR Supervisor.
Answers and routes all telephone calls in a polite and professional manner, taking messages and routing to proper individual in a timely manner.
Ensures security processes are followed with regard to the front desk driver and visitor sign in sheet.
Basic Requirements:
College Diploma preferred but not necessary.
Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications.
Basic typing skills.
Shipping software knowledge including UPS and FedEx.
Must be able to work in varying facility conditions including poor lighting and ventilation.
Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including night, weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer.
