Data Analyst needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Santa Ana, CA.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Analyze and visualize data on a project basis to enhance operational efficiency for a financial institution.
- The Data Analyst will lead and perform complex analysis in an evolving data environment.
- Complete projects that require data analysis, data mining, and presentation of results
- Focus on solutions, dive into projects, and quickly identify drivers in the data
- Identify relevant trends, do follow-up analysis, and prepare visualizations
- Develop reusable queries to track remediation of issues
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Working familiarity with tools like Alteryx, MS SQL Server (T-SQL), Excel
- Should possess excellent technical skills and title-industry business process analysis and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to extract and analyze data, patterns and trends, with the subsequent ability to synthesize the data into information consumable by senior business decision-makers.
- Self starter - must be productive with minimal direction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical, cross-functional environment
- Excellent visual design sense regarding clear and accurate presentation of data
- Minimum HS Diploma Required.
- BS Degree in an IT or business field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Relevant areas of study in any of the following areas: Statistics, data analysis, data-driven computation, mathematics.
