With a history going back to 1920, this organization is a long established systems integrator and automation provider of flexible manufacturing systems used to automate machining centers. Typical systems consist of loading stations, pallet storage, robot cells & integrated machine tools. At the heart of all their systems is the control software that can schedule production based on the production orders, manage and transfer NC programs and run unmanned production.

Over the years, they have pioneered an extensive range of systems and have established their presence in more than 30 countries. They work together with all major metal cutting machine tool manufacturers and integrate their products into functional automation solutions. The end result enables manufacturers to greatly increase productivity through the application of automated and unmanned production cells.

Primary areas of involvement include aerospace & defense, construction & agricultural equipment, precision machining industries, automotive, mechanical engineering & plastics injection molding. Their product portfolio enables them to cover a wide number of user applications and their systems are compatible with CNC machine tools from over 40 different manufacturers and fully supported by technical staff.

Their growth creates a need for an Engineering graduate seeking an entry level Sales Engineering opportunity in the Manufacturing Automation field. This quality is fundamental to the culture and values of the company and essential for building positive spirit and the commitment to teamwork in their operations.

Following in depth training at the US head office in Cincinnati and their European world headquarters, you will be introducing their automation systems to potential customers and working cooperatively with Machine Tool suppliers. The position will be home based and reports to the International Sales Manager who lives in Orange County. It will require a reasonable degree of travel throughout the Southern California area.

Compensation will include an attractive base salary plus a sales incentive plan, a monthly car allowance of $550.00 plus a comprehensive medical /dental employee benefit plan and attractive 401K. Over the next 2 years, annual income in the $80,000 range is realistic. All travel expenses are covered.
