Loan Servicing Assistant

Assists Loan Specialists involved in servicing or liquidating a full range of disaster business and home loans. Responds to borrowers, guarantors and 3rd party phone calls for general/loan information and processes loan payments via pay.gov. Input all conversations with borrowers/guarantors in various databases. Responds to written requests from banks and borrowers and other financial institutions. GS-07:
One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector:
experience with residential and commercial loan programs and their collateral requirements; financial analysis of both personal and business documents to determine eligibility; analyze economic conditions and trends to enable proper collection and liquidation recommendations. These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
